The True Montana Farm Camp Experience!

Located just 3 miles west of Four Corners on the 1000+ sprawling acres of Wheat Ridge Farm, Wheat Ridge Outdoor Education Summer Camp offers students the opportunity to enjoy gardening, hiking, baking, farming, choring, farm equipment, farm animals, and much more!

  • Hiking: exploring the forest, map making, identifying plants, identifying animals & their markings, building forts, & hanging hammocks
  • Farm Animals: learning how to feed, tend to, and maintain the animals & their pens
  • Farm Equipment: learn about the planting & harvesting cycle and how we get our food from field to table
  • ​Gardening: identify various weeds, plants, & flowers and how to harvest produce
  • ​Baking/Cooking: we start by grinding our own wheat and discover the process of making a recipe from scratch
